When I was a little boy I liked running on hot asphalt roads 在我還是個小屁孩的時候我很喜歡在瀝青馬路上奔跑
Even if sweat came into my eyes 即使汗水流進了眼裡
I kept running running and never stopped 我也繼續奔跑從不停下
I did fall a good few times 我確實摔了好幾次
and have a lovely bruised knee with a massive lump 膝蓋上還有一個可愛的大腫塊
The nails are covered with mud and dirt 指甲裡也滿是泥土和污垢
If its too hot jump into this small 實在太熱了不如跳進這小泳池

Squinting Squinting at the villa 瞇著眼睛看看這些別墅
Avocado Blueberry banana 還有鱷梨藍莓香蕉
Pomelo Juicy peach and Guava 柚子水蜜桃番石榴
Mango strawberry carambola 芒果草莓楊桃
The carambola trees grow so well 這楊桃樹長的可真好
cause they are watered with my urine畢竟是用我的尿澆灌的
I miss the air conditioning of sample house 我懷念那樣板房裡吹來的冷氣
I miss the heat wave coming out of the Buick Sail 我懷念那打開小別克湧出來的熱浪
