We held hands on the last night on earth.

where the road curved into the sea

was on you like a disease.

The sky had come crashing down

that wore like an antique wedding dress.

The echoes of the past broke the hearts of the unborn

as the ferris wheel silently slowed to a stop.
摩天輪悄悄緩慢停下
The few insects skittered away
幾隻小蟲飛掠而去
in hopes of a better pastime.
期望找個更好的消遣
I kissed you at the apex of the maelstrom
我在大擺錘的最高處吻你
and asked if you would accompany me in a quick fall,
我邀你陪我坐過山車
but you made me realize that
你卻讓我明白
my ticket wasn't good for two.
我的票不能讓兩人同乘
I rode alone.
我獨自坐了。
You said, 'The cinders are falling like snow.'
你說：'餘燼紛紛似雪落'
There is poetry in despair,
絕境之中有詩意
and we sang with unrivaled beauty,
這美景無與倫比，我們吟唱
bitter elegies of savagery and eloquence.
苦澀的輓歌，猛烈且傳神
Of blue and grey.
憂傷且沉悶
Strange, we ran down desperate streets
怪！我們跑向亡命的街頭
and carved our names in the flesh of the city.

The sun has stagnated

somewhere beyond the rim of the horizon
